Daniele Barraco ( aka DB ) is based in Italy and specialized in portraits and celebrity photography. He grew up as a musician touring in Europe as drummer with his band since seventeen.
He considers himself a modern classicist. He's passionate about people, their faces and their stories. He approaches subjects with a strong visual clarity and a classic sense of composition creating modern, eyecatching and storytelling images for the editorial and advertising markets.
Daniele Barraco was awarded an Honorable Mention at International Photography Awards 2010 ( IPA ) in the Advertising category. He was awarded again at IPA 2011 with two Honorable Mention in Fine Art and People categories for the winning entry "Closer", a 5 images' serie of celebrities and unknown people.
He loves japanese food and hates white socks.
